About Joe
Joe Donahue has been involved in youth ministry for over sixteen years, and has been serving as paid church staff since 1998. Joe is a husband, student pastor, & evangelist, and weaves the tragedy of his childhood with the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Full of energy, genuineness, and enthusiasm, Joe connects with teenagers through his transparency and love for His Savior.
Today’s teenagers wear masks to cover up their hurt, their sin, their loneliness, and their need for a Savior. As Joe speaks and connects to their hearts, teenagers let their guard down and remove their masks.
Joe has worked with the National Youth Workers Convention, associational training for volunteers and youth pastors, and desires to help student pastors and volunteers connect with today's hurting generation.
Not only will Joe bring an evangelistic evening to your student ministry, he will also lead training for your volunteers and youth workers that cannot be found anywhere else. Joe brings a unique perspective on ministering to hurting teenagers, because he has been a hurting teenager crying out for help.
Verbally and sexually abused by his quick-tempered-alcoholic father, his childhood was filled with loneliness, hurt, and lots of covering up. He witnessed his father rape his mom, went through the hurt of his parents divorce, lived in a YWCA shelter, and spent three months in a psychiatric hospital. In 1991, at the age of eighteen, Joe trusted Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior. Check out his testimony embedded on your right.
Now Joe brings his childhood experiences, his student ministry experience, and his passion for the Lord Jesus Christ together to help equip the Body of Christ to reach out to today's hurting generation.

may God bless you,
